Gauntlet

The Sega Mega Drive version of Gauntlet brings together four legendary heroes in a battle to save their kingdom from evil forces.

Players take turns controlling Thor the Warrior, Thyra the Valkyrie, Merlin the Wizard or Questor the Elf as they navigate through a fantasy world filled with mythical creatures and ancient ruins. Each hero has unique abilities that can be used to overcome challenges and defeat enemies.

The game offers various modes of play, including Arcade, Quest, Battle, and Record modes. In these modes, players can compete against each other or work together to achieve common goals. The Quest mode sees players exploring a hub area, battling towers, and solving puzzles to uncover the secrets of an ancient castle.

Battle mode pits players against each other in intense one-on-one combat, with maps featuring a range of obstacles and surprises. Record mode provides a unique twist on the Arcade experience, with features like password continuing and a scoring system that rewards strategy over brute force.
