Bomberman

The player can lay bombs which explode after a few seconds and destroy blocks and enemies in a certain blast radius. While the goal is to kill all enemies within a time limit, Bomberman will also find power-ups which improve his abilities, e.g. laying more bombs at once, a bigger blast radius or speed increase. After death, which can also be caused by the own bombs, all upgrades are lost. An exception are items found in bonus stages which can be entered when the secret condition for each world is fullfilled, e.g. in the first world is is necessary to defeat the boss without laying a bomb.

Besides single-player (eight worlds with four levels plus one boss stage each) there are also five multiplayer maps where two players can fight each other. In multiplayer, there is an exclusive power-up which has negative effects on the player.
