RealSports Football , released in 1983, is an action football game for two players or one player against the computer. The game is played from a top-down point of view of the field which scrolls to follow the action. There is a variety of offensive and defensive plays that can be called, along with several skill levels for each player. Each game will last for one fifteen minute quarter, whichever team has the most points at the end wins!
The gameplay involves controlling your player on the field, using various moves such as dribbling and tackling to outmaneuver the opposing team. You can call plays from a menu, switching between different formations and strategies mid-game if needed. The goal is simple: score more points than the opposing team before the quarter ends.
