Football (1982-02-03) is an action football game where two players can compete against each other or one player faces off against the computer. The game takes place from a top-down view of the field, which scrolls to follow the action as it unfolds.
The objective of the game is to score more points than the opposing team by calling various offensive and defensive plays. Players can choose from several skill levels for each position on the field. Each quarter lasts 15 minutes, and the team with the most points at the end of the quarter wins the game.
