Sengoku 2 is a sequel to Sengoku , where you play as two street fighting heroes caught in the midst of a supernatural attack by the undead forces of the evil Nobunaga from the Japanese sengoku period. This time, the game takes you through several time periods and locations to fight evil, from feudal Japan to WWII Europe.
The gameplay is similar to the original, with standard 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up elements. You must proceed through each stage by killing all enemies that cross your path and defeating the stage boss. New features include swords as your default weapons, which offer high and low attacks, a block move to parry enemy attacks, and collecting orbs for weapon upgrades and energy attacks.
