Fatal Fury: First Contact is a game on the Neo Geo Pocket Color handheld console. It features SD artwork style similar to other titles in the Fatal Fury series.
The story of the game takes place in a more casual way than its counterpart, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers. The main characteristics of this title are included, such as special moves while blocking and strong blows like S. Power and P. Power moves.
The gameplay is the same as other fighting games in the series. Players control their chosen characters and engage in combat with others. Some characters were removed due to limitations of the NGPC hardware, which resulted in fewer fighters available for play.
