Puzzle Link 2 is a Neo Geo Pocket Color puzzle game where blocks of matching color need to be dissolved. New blocks constantly appear at the top of the screen, and the game ends when these first reach the bottom. You can remove blocks by shooting at them, forming a line that connects matching colored tiles.
The gameplay remains mostly the same as its predecessor, but there are some new features added in Puzzle Link 2 . The standard challenge and puzzle rounds return, along with a new marathon-style mode where speed increases gradually. In this mode, more power-ups appear to help the player eliminate blocks faster. Additionally, two-player support is available through link cable.
