Astro Battle is an unlicensed variant of the famous Space Invaders arcade game. The player controls a tank at the bottom of the screen and shoots at a formation of advancing aliens. As the game progresses, incoming fire can be dodged by hiding behind bunkers, but these slow down over time due to repeated hits. Every now and then, a UFO flies past which can be shot for extra points.
The gameplay is fast-paced and challenging, requiring quick reflexes to navigate the tank around the screen while avoiding enemy fire. The game also features a sense of progression as the aliens become increasingly aggressive and the bunkers deteriorate faster. With its simple yet addictive gameplay, Astro Battle remains a nostalgic treat for retro gaming enthusiasts.
