Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is a role-playing game where Mario and Luigi must rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser. The story begins when Bowser swallows the kingdom of Dimentio, causing chaos in the Mushroom World. Mario and Luigi must navigate through various worlds to rescue their friends and defeat Bowser's minions.
Gameplay involves turn-based battles with enemies, as well as exploring different worlds and interacting with non-playable characters. Players can use items, skills, and abilities to overcome challenges and defeat foes. The game also features a unique "party system" where Mario, Luigi, and other allies fight together in battles.
