Who Shot Johnny Rock? , released in 1995, is another live-actor arcade shooter by American Laser Games. The game is set in the classic 1920's style gangster era.
The story revolves around finding out who shot singer Johnny Rock (or at least who hired the guys who shot him) and putting them behind bars. You'll need to navigate through various locations, interacting with characters and solving puzzles to get closer to the truth.
Gameplay-wise, Who Shot Johnny Rock? introduces some new mechanics compared to previous American Laser Games shooters. Instead of relying on a wimpy pistol, you'll have access to a tommy gun that doesn't require reloading. However, be aware that you'll need to manage your ammo and buy more when it runs out. Additionally, you'll have a fixed supply of money, which will decrease every time you die; lose all of it and the game is over.
