Darksiders: Warmastered Edition brings a revamped experience of the original 2010 game, mirroring the updated release of Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition. This platform-exclusive title marks its first appearance on Nintendo Switch as part of its initial launch, with PC offering an enhanced iteration.

The core gameplay remains unchanged in this remastered edition, featuring native 1080p rendering and 4K support across console versions, alongside additional video options for the PC release. The game operates at a consistent 60 frames per second, with the Wii U version settling for a lower frame rate of 30 FPS. Enhanced visuals are also on display, boasting doubled texture resolutions, improved rendering techniques, better shadow handling, and new post-processing effects.
