Your top priority should be building a safe place to rest before night falls, as this will protect you from hostile creatures like zombies and eyeballs that come out at night.

During the day, you'll need to avoid or fight off slimes, which can be defeated with swords or axes. As you collect resources, you can craft stronger gear and armor to keep you safe.
