Ori

The events of Ori take place 700 years before those depicted in Ys: The Vanished Omens; it is the first game in the timeline of Ys, and a prequel to the entire series. The main protagonist is not Adol Christin, but rather Yunica Tovah, a young apprentice knight.

The story follows three playable characters - Yunica, Hugo Fact, and The Claw - as they venture into the sinister Darm Tower with their own unique motives. Each character brings a different gameplay style to the table: Yunica specializes in melee combat, while Hugo fires magical bullets from his staff. The Claw excels in close combat due to his exceptional speed.

Players will experience fast-paced action RPG gameplay reminiscent of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim and Ys: The Oath in Felghana. As the story unfolds, characters acquire skills that can be combined to create a more complex battle strategy. Some familiar foes from previous Ys games make appearances in this installment.
