The royal family is in crisis after the King's untimely demise at the hands of an assassin. His loved ones must now brave the treacherous castle of Hamson, said to hold the key to any ailment or affliction.
Rogue Legacy is a fast-paced 2D action platformer with RPG elements, where you play as a member of a long line of heroes. Each time you die, your character's abilities and skills are passed down to a new heir, bringing unique strengths and weaknesses. You'll collect gold and use it to build a manor, unlocking special rooms that grant you valuable advantages.
The game is set in a randomly generated world, where every room and encounter is different each time you play. With permadeath as a constant threat, you'll need to be quick-witted and resourceful to succeed. Will you rise through the ranks of your family's legacy, or will you fall victim to the curse of Hamson?
