Rampage Puzzle Attack is an action-packed game for the Game Boy Advance console. In this game, you must clear a playfield of four different coloured block types (red, blue, green and yellow) through various play modes. The objective is to remove all blocks from the playfield by strategically dropping two blocks at a time onto the existing ones above.
The gameplay is similar to Drop Mania. A line of blocks sits above the play field which you can change the order of and drop two at a time onto the blocks below. Once a Detoblock (a block that is different in appearance to the usual blocks) appears, drop it onto the corresponding colour to clear those blocks from the field.
The game features several modes, including Clear (cleaning the playfield of all blocks), Puzzle (clearing all blocks within a set number of drops), Marathon (playing as far as you can), and Rescue Mode. In Rescue Mode, your goal is to clear the blocks from the top of a cage where many monsters from the arcade's Rampage World Tour are trapped.
The 2-player modes offer additional challenges, including Rescue (freeing a monster before the opponent to win), Score (scoring the most points in 1 minute), and Attack (where blocks cleared from your field appear on the opponent's screen). With its unique gameplay mechanics and diverse play modes, Rampage Puzzle Attack is an exciting game for fans of action-packed puzzle games.
