Getting Started
Austin Powers: Oh, Behave transforms your Game Boy Color into a PC running Austin Powers 2000 and FAB-DOS. To initialize your unit, you will answer several personal questions.
Use the Nintendo Control Pad to move the cursor and make selections. You will first be asked for your name.
•
Press up and down on the Control Pad to scroll through letters.
•
Press right on the Control Pad to pick the next letter.
•
Press the B Button when you've completed your name.
You will then be asked for your sex and other personal details. For multiple-choice questions, use the B Button to choose an option.
Keep using the B Button to make your choice and move to the next screen. Your Game Boy Color saves all your details and tracks your progress through training missions.
To erase your record, go to Gadgets and check out FORMAT.
Game Functionality
Once your personal details are entered, your Game Boy Color becomes a fully functioning Personal Computer. The game aims to turn you into a fully operational swinging agent. The more you play, the better your score.
Pausing and Quitting
•
Press START to pause or quit any function or game.
•
If you minimize a function (select Mini-Me) after pressing START, you can re-open it using the Mini-Me Button on your Random Task Bar.
Trading and Linking
You can trade gifts (wallpapers, screen savers, sounds) and engage in link play with a friend using an 'Austin Powers Oh, Behave!' Game Pak. You can also link up and exchange e-mails with any two (and soon to be four) Austin Powers games. All Austin Powers games are compatible.
The Desktop
After installation and personalization, you will be taken to the Desktop. You will always start here unless you shut down your Game Boy Color improperly. Check the MALE SYMBOL section for proper shutdown procedures.
