The game Driven is based on the movie by the same name with Sylvester Stallone as its star. The player competes in a series of open-wheel races that follow the plotline of the movie. Each selected driver has different attributes that affect the performance of the car. If the driver is skilled enough he can enter “The Zone”. Once in “The Zone”, the car performs at optimum efficiency. The point of the game is to win the series championship against your arch-rival. The game contains an arcade mode, a story mode, and a multiplayer mode.
The gameplay of Driven is fast-paced and action-packed. The player must navigate through tracks, avoiding obstacles and opponents while maintaining top speed. As the driver gains experience, they can upgrade their car with new parts, improving its performance. The multiplayer mode adds an extra layer of competition, as players can challenge each other in online or local multiplayer matches.

How to Play
GETTING STARTED
ARCADE MODE
Arcade Mode features three championships: EURO CHAMPS, U.S. CHAMPS, and WORLD CHAMPS. Initially, only EURO CHAMPS is available.
Finishing first in EURO CHAMPS unlocks U.S. CHAMPS. Finishing first in U.S. CHAMPS unlocks WORLD CHAMPS.
In addition to championships, there is a SINGLE RACE option. Only tracks successfully completed in ARCADE MODE are available in SINGLE RACE.

STORY MODE
Select your starting chapter and race through the high-octane world of Driven. You'll race as part of 'Team Spirit' as either rookie driver Jimmy Bly or seasoned pro Joe Tanto.
Each chapter provides a new challenge, from 'Training Challenges' to 'Team Blocking', 'City Chases', 'Head-to-Head Challenges', and fast-paced racing action. Get Jimmy to the podium!

MULTIPLAYER MODE
Multiplayer allows two players to race split screen through some of the single-player modes.

THE OPTIONS SCREEN
The Main Menu screen provides access to a menu for customizing various aspects of Driven. Use the Control Stick to select OPTIONS on the Main Menu, then press the A Button.
GAME OPTIONS
•
Speed: Press < or > to change between Kph and Mph.
•
Initial View: Press < or > to select the default view at race start.
•
Map: Turn Map on or off.
•
Radar: Turn Radar on or off.
•
Times: Turn lap timer on or off.
•
Multiplayer Catch-up: Select Multiplayer Catch-up mode. This boosts the speed of the slower car for more competitive races.
•
Crash Cam: Select Crash Cam level.
CONTROLLER SET-UP
•
Player 1 Vibration: Select vibration; use < or > to toggle vibration on or off.
•
Player 2 Vibration: Select vibration; use < or > to toggle vibration on or off.
BUTTON SET-UP
Use < and > to select your desired button set-up. There are 4 presets to choose from, configurable for both players.
AUDIO OPTIONS
•
Sound mode: Press < or > to toggle between normal and surround sound.
•
Music volume: Press < and > to adjust the volume of in-game music.
•
Sound Effect volume: Press < and > to adjust the volume of in-game sound effects.
SCREEN OPTIONS
•
Horizontal Adjust: Press < or > to adjust the horizontal screen position.
•
Vertical Adjust: Press ^ or V to adjust the vertical screen position.
LOAD
Select this to load a previously saved Driven game and follow the on-screen prompts.
SAVE
Select this to save current progress and options to Memory Card and follow on-screen prompts.
RESULTS
Use < and > to view track records for each track.
PLAYING THE GAME
ARCADE MODE CHAMPIONSHIP
During ARCADE MODE CHAMPIONSHIP races, you start from the back of the grid and must fight for first place. Championship points are awarded for your final position, with higher positions earning more points. The driver with the most points at the end of the championship wins.
ARCADE - SINGLE RACE
Choose your driver, track, number of laps, and AI difficulty, then race in a SINGLE RACE. Use this mode to practice unlocked tracks and improve your skills.
•
If you set the number of AI opponents in SINGLE RACE to zero, this mode becomes a TIME TRIAL MODE where you race against the clock to beat your fastest lap time.
STORY MODE - HEAD TO HEAD
Some STORY MODE chapters involve a HEAD TO HEAD battle against a rival driver. Both drivers start at the same time, and the first car over the finish line wins. There is no silver medal for finishing second.
STORY MODE - BLOCKING
Team play is important here; it's about protecting your teammates' position. As the blocker, you have limited time to get from your start grid position to a position BEHIND your teammate.
You must then defend your teammate's position from rival drivers. If you lose position behind your teammate, you have limited time to get back. Blocking timers are displayed in the top center of the HUD.
STORY MODE - CITY CHASE
Your teammates have recklessly driven off down busy city streets in their racing cars. Catch them at all costs! They have a head start, so use all your skill and determination to catch them. Watch out for oncoming traffic!
STORY MODE - RACES
Racing as Jimmy, prove you're number one in this championship and secure a 1st place. As in ARCADE CHAMPIONSHIP, race against the field and try to come in the top spot. Watch out for Brandenburg's advances! Concentrate on the track ahead; get into the 'Zone' to take pole position.
STORY MODE - TRAINING
TRAINING MODE allows you to familiarize yourself with the specific play mechanics of each mode. Training will be prompted at specific points during story mode.
MULTIPLAYER MODE
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Play the EURO CHAMPS, U.S. CHAMPS, and WORLD CHAMPS as in ARCADE MODE. You must win each multiplayer championship to unlock the next. Play either cooperatively or against one another. The winner is decided on points at the end of a championship.

Enemies & Characters
Jimmy Bly
Team Spirit's new season hotshot driver, who at 21 has won the initial five races of the new championship but whose ability has started to waver under pressure.
Joe Tanto
At 37, Tanto is one of the oldest drivers this season, a racing veteran nicknamed 'the Hummer' who is back with Team Spirit after a career-ending accident and personal struggles.
Beau Brandenburg
Winner of last year's 'Driven Championship', Beau Brandenburg is defending his title but has lost first place five times to Jimmy Bly, possibly due to social distractions.
Max Manley
Son of Rex Manley, Max has led a privileged life, developed a taste for speed after being kicked out of UCLA, and is known for his wild lifestyle and involvement in a band.
Yves Bardot
A studious and determined figure, Yves trained as an architect before his flair for open-wheel racing earned him a place as a test driver for Nikimi and then as Team Sabio's no.1 driver.
Maurice Defoe
One of the best drivers from the early 90s, Maurice 'Mo' Defoe saved Team Cellteck with a championship win but his career nose-dived after allegations of team corruption and race fixing.
Lia Lopez
Young and inexperienced, Lia is a former model who transitioned to racing, confounding critics with a spectacular win in her second season despite a fiery temperament and inconsistent results.
Aziz Meshiea
A charming prince from Yemen, Aziz effectively bought his way onto the Nikimi team and, despite excellent performances, has yet to endear himself to the press or western public.
Rubin Stacks
Rubens emerged from Brazil's touring car scene as a controversial young driver known for brilliant victories, amazing outbursts, numerous extra-marital affairs, and the infamous 'brake test' incident.
