World Championship Poker 2 Featuring Howard Lederer is a poker simulation game featuring fourteen types of poker, including Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw, Seven Card Stud and Pineapple. WCP 2 supports both online and offline play. Online, you can play with up to seven other players. Offline play includes Quick Play mode for a fast game or a more extensive Career mode where the player starts their career as a low-ranking upstart living in their mother's basement. As the player advances in their career, they encounter real professional poker players.
Gameplay is focused on strategy and skill, with AI players having their own playing style, emotions, and reactions to events. In-game commentary is provided by Matt Savage. Using WiFi, you can play against PS2 players, including some real-life professionals, on the PSP version of the game.
