World Championship Poker 2 Featuring Howard Lederer is a poker simulation game featuring fourteen types of poker, including Texas Hold'em, Five Card Draw, Seven Card Stud and Pineapple. WCP 2 supports both online and offline play. Online, you can play with up to seven other players. Offline play includes Quick Play mode for a fast game or the Career mode, where you start as a low-ranking player living in your mother's basement.
As you advance through the career, you will encounter real professional poker players, such as Greg Raymer, Clonie Gowen, Amir Vahedi, Paul Darden, Robert Williamson III, Matt Savage, and Annie Duke. The game also features AI players with their own playing style, emotions, and reactions to events.
The Xbox version of WCP 2 allows you to use WiFi to play against PSP players, while the PS2 version supports EyeToy to add your own likeness to the game. In-game commentary is provided by Matt Savage.
