Jimmy White's 2 Cueball

Holding down the O button and using the Directional button or left stick allows you to move the cue-tip around the cueball, altering the vertical axis of the cue to increase or decrease spin. Due to the low friction of the baize, a cue ball can spin in any direction while traveling forwards, and when it hits another ball, it stops momentarily to transfer energy, spinning on the spot before friction causes it to move again in a new direction.

This icon adds a dotted line to show the variable length path of the cue ball if you played the shot with the current pre-set power settings.

With the viewline on, you can use the Directional button to select another ball and press the X Button; the game will line up the shot to hit the selected ball dead center for a straight-ahead shot, ignoring other balls.

Only available in practice or Trick Shot mode, pressing the X button when this icon is highlighted allows you to go back one shot and play it again, but only if it's still your turn.

In practice or Trick Shot mode, pressing the X Button with this icon highlighted will recommend the best legal shot by fixing direction, spin, and power for what it considers the safest and most advantageous play.

Pressing the O button brings up a panel of accumulated score information, useful for determining if snookers are needed or to know the pot order of pocketed balls.

This icon toggles a top-down view of the entire table, which is handy for positioning the cue ball for your next shot, and pressing the X Button again returns to the 3D view.

This icon appears in place of the cueball Take-Shot icon and is used to return the camera viewpoint to be 'on the cueball', if you've selected another ball or pocket.
