Backyard Wrestling: There Goes the Neighborhood is a wrestling game where you control your own wrestler, trying to become the best in the neighborhood. You'll face off against rival wrestlers, body slam them, and pin them to the mat to score points. But be careful, because if you get too aggressive, the cops will show up and give you a warning. As you progress through the game, you'll unlock new moves, like the "Backyard Brawler" or the "Sleeper Hold". Will you become the champion of the neighborhood, or will your opponents shut down your backyard wrestling ring?
Gameplay involves using a variety of moves to take down your opponents. You can use quick punches and kicks to score fast points, or use more powerful moves like suplexes and chokeslams to take down your rivals. But be aware that each move has its own stamina meter, so you'll need to time them carefully to avoid getting tired too quickly. The game also features a variety of environments, from the backyard ring to the local park, where you can use terrain to your advantage when taking down your opponents.
Backyard Wrestling: There Goes the Neighborhood was released on November 24th, 2000 for the PlayStation 2 console.
