Nina Williams takes on the role of assassin in this Death by Degrees , a spin-off from the Tekken series. Her mission is to infiltrate the luxury cruise ship Amphitrite, where she's been sent as part of a CIA operative team. However, when Nina is taken captive and told that the mission has failed, she takes matters into her own hands.
The game follows Nina as she navigates through the large cruise ship, using stealth to evade guards and finding keys to unlock new areas. The gameplay switches between third-person perspective and first-person view on certain occasions, such as when using a sniper rifle or swimming underwater.
Death by Degrees features an innovative control system that uses analog sticks for attacks and movement. The left stick allows Nina to dodge, while the right stick enables her to attack in any direction. Blocks are executed by holding the right stick towards the enemy during an attack. The game also includes a variety of melee weapons and firearms, which can be upgraded as players progress through the game.
