Dropship: United Peace Force is an action-adventure game set in 2050. Terrorist attacks have increased severely, leading big nations to form the UPF, "United Peace Force", replacing the UN and NATO. The UPF is an anti-terror army operating worldwide.
The player takes on the role of a recently recruited soldier and pilot, investigating a link between a terrorist attack in Columbia and a massively militarised drug syndicate. A central base and training camp of the cartel is believed to be located in Libya. The UPF establishes a base in this country, starting a search for the criminals.
The gameplay involves 20 missions, with the player able to travel on foot, in tanks, and various ground vehicles, but most often piloting a dropship - attack, defender, or transport class. Dropships can operate in hover and flight mode, carrying large amounts of weapons and cargo.
As part of the game, the player participates in a massive global conflict, with all the action on display. Six training missions help ease players into the game's controls.
