Mobile Light Force 2 is a budget-priced port of AlfaSystem's vertical-scrolling shoot-'em-up Shikigami no Shiro. The game follows the story of a young girl who must defend her home from an alien invasion.
The gameplay involves navigating through five levels, each with three stages, and fighting against waves of enemies in a rapid-fire stream of bullets. A unique spirit attack is available for each character, which significantly slows down the ship's movement but rewards players with extra points. The Tension Bonus system also adds an extra layer of strategy, as players can earn increased power and bonus points based on how close they are to enemies and their bullets.
