Memory Card
NHL Hitz 20-02 allows you to save accumulated data to your Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2). Using a Memory Card is highly recommended to enjoy the game's many features. Each time you start NHL Hitz 20-02, the game will read your Memory Card and load your saved settings and teams. This saves you from adjusting settings every time you play.
You can also create teams and players, and saving this information is crucial, especially if you've accumulated stats and credits for the Hockey Shop.

Within the Options Menu, you'll find the "Memory Card" option with several choices for managing your game data.
Load any saved settings you have stored on your Memory Card.
Use this option to delete unused user names or free up space.
This option deletes a user name along with its related game records and saved controller configurations.
Enable this option to automatically save your data to the Memory Card. A prompt will appear during auto-save, warning you not to interrupt the process.
It is advised not to insert or remove peripherals or Memory Cards once the power is ON. Ensure sufficient free space on your Memory Card before playing.
