The game Ribbit King takes place in a world where frogs play golf, known as Frolf, to save their planet Hippitron. The player must navigate through five unique worlds, each with its own obstacles, while competing in a twenty-course Frolf tournament.
The gameplay is action-packed and requires strategy. The frog's mind is unpredictable, adding an extra layer of challenge to the game. Power-ups can be collected to enhance the frog's abilities, such as flying farther or swimming faster. The game supports both single-player story mode and versus multiplayer mode for up to four players.
Ribbit King was released on November 24, 2000, for the PlayStation 2 console.
