The story of Bloody Warriors follows a young man from an ancient village as he searches for a vicious monster that has been attacking his home. After defeating the beast, he returns to find that some villagers have been taken by the imperial troops. With this new information, the protagonist sets out to uncover the empire's true motives and solve a grand mystery.
The gameplay in Bloody Warriors is similar to the Dragon Quest series, with players traveling on a world map, battling random monsters in turn-based first-person-perspective battles, and visiting towns and dungeons. The game also features strategy battles, where players must recruit knights and fight against entire armies of enemies.
