WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is a professional wrestling video game based on the two brands of WWE, Raw and SmackDown.
The game features a new physics system that makes objects behave more realistically. For example, tables in matches like Tables, Ladders, and Chairs break differently depending on how hard they're hit. You can also rest ladders against the ring ropes and break them in half outside the ring. For the first time, you can throw chairs at your opponents.
The Hell in a Cell match has been revamped with new features like expanded cell walls, weapons underneath the ring, and steel steps near the poles. The game also adds new ways to escape the steel cage.
The game's "WWE Universe" mode replaces the career mode from previous games. This mode builds storylines and integrates cut scenes and rivalries between wrestlers based on the matches you wrestle. These cut scenes appear randomly before, during, or after a match.
Road to WrestleMania mode has been modified to include new features like backstage roaming, mini-quests, and more interaction with other Superstars. The playable storylines involve Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Christian, Chris Jericho, and a quest to end The Undertaker's undefeated streak by choosing Kofi Kingston or creating your own superstar.
