Resident Evil 2 is an update of the original game, released for various platforms including Dreamcast , with improved controls thanks to Dual Shock support. A new mode has also been added: Battle Mode. After completing the game, players must disarm four bombs in reverse order. This mode can be unlocked with higher difficulty levels and allows players to play as additional characters.
The story follows Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they navigate through Raccoon City, fighting against a mysterious virus that has turned most of the population into zombies.
Gameplay involves navigating through environments, solving puzzles and fighting against hordes of undead. Players can use various items and weapons to take down enemies, including firearms, grenades, and medical supplies. The game features a variety of characters, each with their own abilities and weaknesses.
