The world is on the brink of chaos as robots, once mere machines, turn against their human creators. The control system that once controlled them has been compromised, and now they are bent on destroying humanity. With the robots taking over military bases and factories, it's up to you to take action.

Assault City is a one-player shooter where you play as Joe, determined to destroy the control system that forces the robots to kill. Your journey begins with a brief shooting practice session, where you must target robot silhouettes while avoiding human targets. As you progress through levels, you'll face off against increasingly aggressive robots and bosses.

Assault City features a unique blend of action and adventure gameplay, with power-ups and endless continues to keep you going. With two versions available – the control pad version and the Light Phaser version – there's something for everyone in this classic shooter.
