WWF Super WrestleMania is a wrestling game based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The game features a unique "tug of war" gameplay style, where two wrestlers grapple each other until one has the upper hand. The player must repeatedly tap a button to execute this move. All the wrestlers use the same set of typical WWF moves, such as scoop slams, suplexes, hip tosses, dropkicks, clotheslines, and elbow drops.
The game's modes include one-on-one matches, tag team matches, and Survivor Series matches (four-on-four). The Genesis version also features a WWF Championship mode, where the player can select a wrestler and progress through the tournament by winning one-on-one matches.
