Bubsy II follows the story of Bubsy , the brave bob-cat, as he explores a mysterious hyperdimensional mansion. The mansion contains portals that lead to different areas in different locations and times, putting Bubsy's skills to the test.
The gameplay is similar to other fast-paced action-adventure games. Bubsy II features fast movement and high jumping abilities, allowing players to kill enemies by jumping on their heads. The levels are large and can be accessed from the start, with five different types of regular levels, including a sci-fi environment, an airplane-based level, and more.
