Nagagutsu o Haita Neko: Sekai Isshū 80 Nichi Daibōken is an action-platformer game based on a 70s anime movie starring a cat named Pero in a bet that he can travel around the world in 80 days. The general plot is heavily inspired by Jules Verne's classic novel "Around the World in Eighty Days". The game consists of eight stages each in a different place of the world.
The gameplay involves jumping, dodging and shooting enemies while trying to make fast progress. You have to complete the game within a limited amount of time, with the goal being to beat the 80-day timer. If you run out of time, even if you still have lives left, it means "Game Over".
