LEGO Dimensions

The gameplay involves building LEGO minifigures using instructions in-game, which come with special vehicles or items. These figures can be used anywhere within the game, regardless of their franchise affiliation. Players explore levels forming an overarching plot concerning the 'Foundational Elements', which function as cornerstones to time and space, representing multiple universes across various franchises.

Each franchise provides access to an 'Adventure World', similar to hubs in other LEGO games, offering miniature open-worlds with puzzles, races, and quests to complete in exchange for collectable Gold Bricks. Expansion levels are also available as downloadable packs marked as 'Level Packs'.
