Rainbow Six: Lockdown is the third game in the series to appear on consoles, with Red Storm Entertainment at the helm. You play as Domingo 'Ding' Chavez, leading a team on black-ops missions. This time, the gameplay is more arcade-like, and the main single-player campaign revolves around a deadly virus and hostages. In certain missions, you'll take on the role of sniper Dieter Weber, providing cover from higher ground while your team infiltrates.
The Xbox version offers an offline two-player cooperative mode and full online multiplayer for up to 16 players. On PS2, there's also a two-player split-screen option, but not online multiplayer. The game features different modes, including traditional deathmatch, objective-based games, and CTF. You can choose an avatar and class with special abilities before playing, earning credits and experience that can be traded in for new gear.
