Predator: Soon The Hunt Will Begin is a 2D action game set in a jungle environment. There are 30 stages in the game, each divided into two modes: Jungle Mode and Big Mode.

In Predator , the goal is to survive the dangers of the jungle while fighting guerrillas and wildlife with various weapons. You must shoot down enemies using machine guns, laser rays, and grenades until you exit the stage by entering a cave. Sometimes, there are multiple caves, and you'll be warped to another stage rather than moving forward.

After several stages, you enter Big Mode. Your objective is to blast blue and purple spheres before they reach you. Some spheres contain power-ups that increase your firepower. As you gain distance, you must defeat the Predator to continue on to the next stage. The Predator 's attack pattern changes throughout Big Mode.

Predator: Soon The Hunt Will Begin was released on March 10th, 1988, for the Famicom console.
