The game has seven levels based on real resorts, which are expansive and include challenges like stunts. As you progress through the levels, the difficulty increases, but you can unlock harder ones after completing the easier ones. There are also optional hard quests that improve your character's abilities. You can use alternative forms of movement, such as a snowmobile, to navigate the terrain.

The game features a "Park Builder" editor where you can create and modify runs, including changing levels while playing through the campaign. The game also has a customizable soundtrack with over 300 songs, and your progress is automatically uploaded to the Xbox LIVE! Leader-boards for tracking achievements.
