Captain America: Super Soldier is a third-person action game based on the movie Captain America: The First Avenger , which is in turn based on the Marvel comics series. The plot revolves around the fight between Captain America and his enemies: Red Skull, Arnim Zola, and the HYDRA organization.
The player controls Captain America in a succession of athletic fights. The hero's shield is used in various ways in combat: thrown against enemies, deflecting projectiles, scaling walls...
Some levels will also require puzzle solving and platforming skills in order to advance in the story. Gameplay involves intense action sequences and combat with a variety of enemies.
