Star Trek: Legacy , a strategy game set in the Star Trek universe, takes place a few years after the end of Star Trek: Enterprise . The player controls the upgraded USS Enterprise NX-01 as it searches for a missing Vulcan ship. Along the way, they'll have the chance to command all five main starships from the TV series and films, including the USS Voyager and USS Enterprise-E.
The gameplay involves commanding the ship directly or giving orders to the helm through a map of the sector. The player can also mark planets or enemies on the screen for direct targeting. Completing missions earns command points, which can be used to buy up to four ships, each with its own unique abilities and functions.
The campaign pits the USS Enterprise NX-01 against various foes, including Klingons, Romulans, and the Borg. Skirmish and multiplayer modes allow players to command all four alien races.
