Eggs of Steel follows the story of Charlie, a night watchman at the MOM Steel Factory, as he tries to stop the machines from starting up during his break. The factory has been taken over by hazardous obstacles and bad guys who want to stop Charlie from reaching the reset button on the other side.

The gameplay in Eggs of Steel involves jumping, climbing, and avoiding flying obstacles as Charlie navigates through the factory. He can use his "Egg Roll" to defeat enemies and his trusty wrench to trap them. The game features 43 levels, 12 bosses, and power-ups like donuts that increase Charlie's health.

The Eggs of Steel gameplay combines elements of classic platformers with the unique flip-screen technique and prerendered 3D backgrounds, a style similar to that used in Resident Evil. The game also features a variety of music genres, including jazz, salsa, and Polynesian.
