Final Fantasy Anthology is a two-disc collection containing two games: Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI .
The story of the two games follows the struggles of heroes and villains in a fantasy world. In Final Fantasy V , a group of rebels must band together to defeat an evil empire, while in Final Fantasy VI , a young woman named Terra discovers she has magical powers and becomes embroiled in a war between nations.
The gameplay in the two games is similar, with turn-based battles and character development. However, Final Fantasy V introduces a new job class system, allowing characters to change classes and develop new abilities, while Final Fantasy VI features a more complex battle system with multiple phases.
Final Fantasy Anthology was released on the Playstation in 1999 for Europe.
