G-Force is a licensed game based on the movie of the same name. The player takes control of Darwin, who is a member of a secret government organization consisting of guinea pigs. His mission is to defend the evil industrial magnate Saber, who manipulates home appliances and uses them as weapons.
The gameplay revolves around fights against Saber's minions and other foes. Darwin has access to various guns and gadgets, such as a jet pack, electronic whip, or grappling hook, which are used to dispatch enemies. However, the game also features puzzles that require the use of Mooch, a fly that can be summoned at any time.
Mooch has unique abilities, including reaching high grounds, deactivating electronic devices, flying through small holes, and slowing down time to pass through fast-moving obstacles. As the player progresses through the game, they can find computer chips and hidden disks that can be used to upgrade Darwin's arsenal or provide additional information.
The PlayStation 2 version of G-Force features an optional playing mode for 3D glasses on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
