NHL 2K6 brings a fresh take on the ice hockey experience with its new features and rule changes.
The game's storyline focuses on your team's journey through the NHL season, with the ultimate goal of winning the Stanley Cup. The story is more about your management skills as a coach rather than individual player stories.
NHL 2K6 features a range of gameplay modes, including Franchise Mode, where you can manage and play as your own team, Exhibition matches against other teams, ProControl for realistic player movements, On-The-Fly Coaching to influence your players during the game, the Enforcer system to deal with tough opponents, and multiplayer on Xbox Live for playing with friends.
The gameplay itself is fast-paced and challenging, requiring strategy and quick reflexes. Players can enjoy realistic ice hockey action, complete with authentic teams and players from the time, including the Toronto Maple Leafs , Boston Bruins , Ottawa Senators and Tampa Bay Lightning , as well as All-Star and Legend teams to play.
