Rocky is a sports game based on the famous movie series of the same name about good boxer Rocky Balboa (played by Sylvester Stallone). The game has several modes, including Movie Mode, Exhibition and Knockout Tournament. In Movie Mode you can follow the movie series, starting each part with three minor opponents and finishing the big boss in the end. Each character has personal weaknesses. Also you can train Rocky prior to each fight.
The gameplay is about controlling Rocky in the ring against various opponents. You need to use timing and button-mashing skills to land punches, dodge kicks and blocks. The game has a variety of boxers with different fighting styles, so you have to adapt your strategy accordingly. As you progress through the game, the opponents become tougher and you'll need to improve your skills to win.
Rocky was released on PlayStation 2 on 11 November 2002 .
