Rocky , released in 1983 for the Colecovision, is an action-adventure game based on the film Rocky III. As one of two characters - either Rocky Balboa or Clubber Lang - players must face off against their opponent in a series of intense matches.
The gameplay revolves around throwing punches and blocks using the Super Action Controller's buttons, while navigating the ring using the joystick. The computer opponent can be adjusted to four different skill levels, or play competitively with another player. The winner celebrates by performing a victory strut to the iconic theme song Eye Of The Tiger .
