Dying Light

The focus is on melee weapons and gathering supplies to craft items. Players have a stamina bar that prevents continuous hitting, and guns can be used, but sound attracts others. By progressing through the game, abilities can be leveled up in skill trees for agility, power, and survival. Large groups of zombies can be taken out from heights using projectiles or triggering traps.

Progress through the city is furthered by unlocking safe zones where zombies cannot enter. During the day, Crane mainly needs to scavenge, locate survivors, explore, set up traps, and locate air drops. At night, slow zombies become more agile, doing more damage, sprinting, and chasing Crane. Experience points are doubled at night, and players must use UV light, sound, and distractions to slow them down.
