Quarth is a typical puzzle/arcade game where the objective is to fill in different blocks by forming complete rectangles or squares. As the screen scrolls down, new unformed blocks appear, keeping you on your toes. Your goal is to clear the blocks before they reach the bottom line of the playing field, which ends the current level and gives you a chance to continue. You have 10 seconds to decide whether to proceed to the next level or start over.
Gameplay involves moving Quarth from right to left while navigating through increasingly challenging levels. Each level consists of nine areas, and clearing all of them allows you to progress to the next stage. The game features a battle mode where two players can compete against each other in a dual-player mode.
