Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken , a reworked version of Rocketbirds: Revolution! , is a platform game that combines puzzling, shooting, and stealth sequences. The story follows an albatross soldier trying to overthrow the leader of a militaristic republic.

The gameplay involves mixing puzzle-solving with combat and action-packed sequences, including dogfight-like battles where the soldier uses a jetpack to soar through the skies. Players can also explore new environments and use new weapons, with enhanced controls and cut-scene movies.

In addition to the main campaign, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken features a cooperative game mode for up to two players, where they play as characters Ripper and Roper. This mode includes ten chapters with combat and puzzle-solving elements.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken was released on the Playstation Vita in 2019 and offers enhanced visuals, including full 3D effects and stereoscopic 3D support.
