After Burner II is an updated re-release of After Burner . Besides extra levels, a few new enemies, a few touches at the soundtrack and more disposable missiles, the biggest addition is the ability to slow down or speed up manually. The rest of the gameplay remains identical.
The original After Burner II was released in 1995 for the Sega 32X console. It's a Shoot'em Up game that challenges players to control an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet as it engages enemy aircraft and missiles.
Gameplay involves navigating through increasingly difficult levels, dodging and shooting enemies while avoiding obstacles and collecting power-ups. The game requires quick reflexes and strategy to succeed, making it a challenging experience for even the most skilled players.
