The year 2000 may seem like a distant future, but in this game, it's already here, and with it, a desperate need for air. The problem is that people are forced to move underground and live in tunnels, infested with mutated creatures called "ratigators". You take on the role of the pilot of a Sewer Shark, a craft designed to navigate the Sewers and rid them of these pests.
Sewer Shark is an FMV-based shooter, where you move a crosshair around the screen and shoot targets. Occasionally, you can also choose to change directions at fixed points.
